The Food of Sichuan

Almost twenty years after the publication of Land of Plenty, considered by many to be one of the greatest cookbooks of all time, Fuchsia Dunlop revisited the region where her culinary journey began, adding more than 70 new recipes to the original repertoire. CHD was contacted by Bloomsbury to design this updated manuscript and art direct the 200 recipes with photography by Yuki Sugiura. The design took inspiration from Chinese scrolls and worked with Luzi Types Faro Font for its contrasting and subtle quirks, reminiscent of Chinese characters.
